FirePipe – the emergency stove born out of necessity
The FirePipe emergency stove was developed when innovator Gustav Widström saw how the civilian population in Ukraine was affected by the Russian invasion. Constant attacks left people without the ability to warm themselves or cook, creating an urgent need for a reliable and efficient heating and cooking solution.
The project was initiated through a collaboration between Gustav Innovation AB, Jobro Technologies AB and the aid organizations OperationAid and UNHCR who were involved during the development phase of the first FirePipe stove.
With the help of the Blue and Yellow car, the first units were sent to those affected.
FirePipe is a Swedish-developed, resource-efficient and transport-friendly emergency stove – designed to provide heat and enable cooking in crisis situations. From an acute emergency solution, it has now become an important part of crisis preparedness for both households and communities.
More products will be developed to help people in need, with a focus on smart, sustainable and easy-to-use solutions for crisis situations.
Our goal is to contribute to increased preparedness and security, regardless of where and when the need arises.
